When used in Domestic Environments
a. Concealed or Working Parts: 5 years
b. Finishes of Exposed Surfaces: 3 years
c. Ceramic & Thermostatic Cartridges: 2 years
When used in Commerical Environments
a. Concealed or Working Parts: 3 years
b. Finishes of Exposed Surfaces: 2 years
c. Ceramic & Thermostatic Cartridges: 1 year
Exceptions Offered Without Warranty
a. Products installed in outdoor, marine or coastal environments.
b. Basin, Bath, Shower, Kitchen & Bidet Waste caps and throats.
c. Parts made of marble, glass, concrete, wood, and any other material other than our metal finishes.
Validity
In order for this warranty to be valid, all of the clauses contained in our terms and conditions document should have been complied with, together with the following
a. If our investigation of the product results in the conclusion that defects have occurred under normal usage and within the above timeframes then we will, at our election, repair, replace or make appropriate adjustment to the associated product(s).
b. Our liability is limited to the replacement of products proven to have been defective in material or workmanship when they left our warehouse. It does not allow for claims for other costs such as damage to other products not supplied by Varied Forms Limited or for costs related to the repair, removal, return or installation costs.
c. Damages due to misuse, abuse, accidents, improper installation or handling, incorrect maintenance and product care, natural wear and tear, or use in combination with any replacement parts other than those supplied by Varied Forms will void this warranty.
d. Damages due to inadequate protection against frost and exposure of our products to sub-zero temperatures.
e. Damages due to sand, debris, ferrous slag, impurities of any kind and/or foreign bodies in pipes, or feed water.
f. Even if the product(s) has been maintained and cleaned in accordance with the care and maintenance instructions listed in this document, it is still understood that they will be subject to natural wear and tear during their use, such as dulling of surfaces, fine
scratches and staining. This wear and tear is not covered within our warranty.
